Havana bike city tour

We start the day with a fitted bicycle outside the Montehabana hotel in the Playa district: here we will make sure that your bicycle is the correct size, we will provide you with a helmet, we will present the rest of the group and we will have a safety information cycle with the tour guide. 

  The first section of the trip is to follow the coastal road that goes down the Karl Marx theater and "La Puntilla" where the Almendares river meets the sea. We head towards "El Bosque de Habana" the green and mysterious forest whose beauty surprises many visitors to Havana. After stopping to take a breather and take photos of the peculiar trees, we started again and now we are in the Vedado district, home to some beautiful residential architecture and cemetery to reach the emblematic Plaza de la Revolucion, an unmissable destination for anyone interested in politics or Cuba's revolutionary past.  

  Continuing through Vedado, we finally arrive at the Hotel Nacional, the emblematic hotel to visit dignitaries and iconic silhouette on the city skyline. 

   We arrive at the Centro Habana district and the landscape changes with the narrowing of the roads and the bustling street life that becomes more evident. We stopped for a fruit juice in a typical urban Cuban neighborhood before completing the last section of the walk along the "Paseo de Prado" and ending next to the Bay of Havana.  

  Here we will have a pettit lunch ,and leave the bike further to explore part of the old town on foot ending at the Cathedral.   

The staff will consist of a cycling guide (English speaking), support vehicle with driver, and an additional bicycle mechanic for larger groups. Helmets and drinking water included. ,
