Havana cigar, a tradition of excellence

A specialized guide will pick you up at the hotel to begin a visit to the Habano world. Discover the secrets of a tradition that for centuries has distinguished Cuba as the land of the best tobacco in the world. 

 

You will visit one of the mythical tobacco factories with the interest of knowing first-hand the artisanal process and feeling the unmistakable aroma of dry leaves. They could watch the workers rolling cigars from famous brands like Montecristo or Cohiba. The factory houses a specialized store, where they could choose from a wide variety of cigars. 

 

We will continue the tour with a visit to the Tobacco Museum that is; dedicated to preserving and exhibiting collections related to the plantation, elaboration and commercialization of Cuban tobacco. 

 

Afterwards we will enjoy an encounter with the house torcedor and we will taste a Habano. These are manufactured (rolled) by hand, by masterful rollers who select the best quality leaves destined to form the foiller, the binder and the wrapper , an occupation acquired or simply transmitted from generation to generation. End of the tour and return to the hotel.   DURACION
