On both sides of the bay

The sanitation of the Bay and the recovery of docks and old buildings, and the opening of spaces for leisure, recreation and commerce, transform the old port environment of the old part of the city into an impressive promenade. On this new context, and with the restoration of the Emboque de Luz as a docking point, and passenger station for the boats that connect Old Havana with Regla and Casablanca, a route is proposed that ensures direct contact with history, the enjoyment of open spaces and floating groynes, and a visit to overseas towns where the capital's landscape takes on the charm of the popular, tradition and religiosity.

Includes visits to the Brewery of the Old Warehouse of Tobacco and Wood, to the popular handicraft fair in the old Almacenes San Jose; to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Regla and to the Mirador del Cristo in Havana.
