Located in Remedios, 50 km from the northern keys of Villa Clara. Founded city, towards the first quarter of the sixteenth century, the greatest treasures that the town awaits are in its Plaza Isabel II and today called José Martí Park and in its surroundings, where there are works of great heritage value such as the Parroquia Mayor San Juan Bautista, declared a National Monument since 1949 and the historic center (in 1979) that also shows another Catholic church in its center, being the only city with this characteristic. We also have in the surroundings of the square, in the Francisco Javier Balmaceda Park, the Statue of Liberty and other works of a marked sociocultural and political nature.
