The Cadillac Hotel was built in 1945 in the shape of a large ship, giving the impression of being anchored on the boulevard. The historic Cadillac Hotel was salvaged and reopened in late 2008, after sitting idle for decades. Great care has been taken to restore it to its original state, using accessories and furniture in the style of the time. It is an important victory for the province of Las Tunas, the Islazul hotel chain and the Ministry of Tourism.
