LA HABANA

The largest island in the Caribbean is widely known for its abundance of classic cars, cigars and rum, but there is so much more to see when you scratch beneath the colourful surface and venture into the countryside. Practice some salsa steps, eat farm-to-table at an eco-village and learn about local cigar farms.

Day 1 (Monday / Thursday) HAVANA - CIENFUEGOS


Departure to Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South. Tour of its streets and avenues founded by the French. It is located in a wonderful bay, where Cubas largest coral is so far discovered, and baptized with the name of Notre Dame.

Lunch and free time.

Walk through the bay (as long as weather conditions allow). Accommodation according to selected hotel and dinner.


Day 2 (Tuesday / Friday) CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD


Breakfast.

At 10:00 am visit the Dolphinarium and interaction with the dolphins (closed Wednesday).

Departure to Trinidad.

City tour.

Visit to the Plaza Mayor; a city museum; The Church of the Holy Trinity; La Canchánchara Bar, with its typical welcome cocktail; and Ceramics Workshop.

Lunch and free time in the city.

Return to the hotel with accommodation included.

Dinner at the hotel.


Day 3 (Wednesday / Saturday) TRINIDAD - VALLE DE LOS INGENIOS - SANTA CLARA - HAVANA / VARADERO / CAYO SANTA MARÍA


Breakfast and departure to the Valle de los Ingenios. San Isidro de los Destiladeros is one of the oldest and most complete mills in the Valle de los Ingenios, and you will also visit the house-dwelling and a unique bell tower, from where you can see several remains of the other components of the mill and it is considered one of the most archaeological sites of the valley.

Lunch and continuation Santa Clara. Visit to Ernesto Che Guevara Square, meeting place with one of the most prominent and charismatic personalities of contemporary world history, and where the Museum and the memorial that bears his name are located.

Land transfer to our destination, from the Los Caneyes hotel. (Accommodation not included in the price)

SANTIAGO DE CUBA

From  historical streets of Santiago de Cuba to the pristine shores of the Caribbean, stroll through World Heritage cities, relive a fascinating colonial history and experience the rich heritage of music and dance that Cuba is renowned for.  From historic cars to fragrant cigars, this adventure will take you into the heart of Cuba.

Day 1 (Wednesday) HAVANA - SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Transfer in the morning to the airport for domestic flights to take the flight to Santiago.
Upon arrival transfer to the selected hotel in Santiago de Cuba.
After check in, departure to visit the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Cobre and enjoy the cultural landscape of the Copper mines.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 (Thursday) SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Breakfast.
Departure for visit of Santiago de Cuba.
Visit to the Museum July 26, former Moncada Barracks where you will learn the history of Cuba.
Visit the historic center, Cathedral Square or Céspedes Park and House of Don Diego Velázquez and its Museum of Cuban Historic Environment.
Continue to Santiago Bay to visit the Castillo del Morro San Pedro de la Roca, where the Piracy Museum (Unesco World Heritage Site) is located.
Sea transfer and lunch at Cayo Granma restaurant.
After the visit of the cemetery of Santa Ifigenia, return to the hotel.
Accommodation and dinner

Day 3 (Friday) SANTIAGO DE CUBA - BIRAN - HOLGUIN - GIBARA

Breakfast.
Departure to Holguin.
Visit in transit to the historical complex of Birán, Fidel Castros birthplace and National Monument.
Continue to Holguin where you will tour its parks and enjoy its historical monuments.
Free time for photos and lunch.
Visit to the Loma de la Cruz, from where you can appreciate the whole city.
Continue to Gibara. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 (Saturday) SANTA LUCIA

Breakfast.
Tour of Gibara, called the White Villa, which has a rich history and culture.
You will enjoy its exotic landscape, beautiful architectural sites, such as its historic center, declared a National Monument.
Continue to the Santa Lucia spa, located on the north coast of Camagüey.
With a beautiful beach of almost 20km the resort has one of the largest coral reefs in the Caribbean, essential for diving enthusiasts.
Accommodation at the all-inclusive hotel.
Afternoon free to enjoy the hotel and optional activities. Cathedral Square or Céspedes Park, around which are the most important Mansions and Streets of Santiago, visit the Diego Velásquez Museum or Colonial Environment.
Visit to the Fort San Pedro de la Roca or El Morro, where the Piracy Museum is located and which holds the title of World Heritage.
Lunch and visit to the Santa Efigenia cemetery.
Return to the hotel, night available.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 (Sunday) SANTA LUCIA - CAMAGÜEY - SANCTI SPIRITUS - TRINIDAD

Breakfast.
Departure to Camaguey, which has a historic center declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
Visit to the Workers Square, San Juan de Dios Square, Ignacio Agramonte Square, La Merced Church and the boulevard.
Departure to Sancti Spíritus with lunch in transit and panoramic tour of the city.
Continue to Manaca-Iznaga, center of the Valle de los Ingenios, a region that was one of the most prosperous in Cuba in the 17th and 18th centuries.
At the end departure to Trinidad.
Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 (Monday) TRINIDAD - CIENFUEGOS - SANTA CLARA

Breakfast.
Tour of the city of Trinidad, a World Heritage Site, where you will enjoy Spanish colonial architecture and visit the Romantic Museum, the Plaza Mayor and La Canchánchara Bar.
Departure to Cienfuegos and lunch at a local restaurant.
Walk from the meadow on the boulevard to the Marti Park.
Visit to the Tomás Terry theater and the Palacio de Valle.
Departure to Santa Clara.
Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 (Tuesday) SANTA CLARA - HAVANA OR VARADERO

Breakfast.
Visit to the city of Santa Clara and its Commander Ernesto Che Guevara Sculptural Complex.
Tour of the Historical and Cultural Center of the city. Stop at the Leoncio Vidal Park.
Panoramic tour through the Parque del Carmen, visit the monument of the Armored Train and visit the work of the artist Casto Solano, known as "Che de los Niños".
Lunch in a restaurant of the zone.
Continue to Varadero or Havana.

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:

Day 1.  Havana

  • Havana Hotel/ Private House.
  • Accommodation at Havana Hotel/ Private House in HB Plan.

Day 2. Havana

  • Breakfast. 9hrs Information Meeting with the clients about the tour. After meeting, visit the Hemingway Museum and the land of Hemingway, Cojímar.
  • Lunch at Las Terrazas, a local restaurant in Cojímar, town that inspired the famous writer to write the novel The Old Man and the Sea.
  • City Tour of the Old and Modern Havana including  visit to St Francisco de Assis Square and its beautiful Fountain of the Lions, the Old Square, Arms Square and the Place of the Captains General, Cathedral Square and the Bar-Restaurant, La Bodeguita del Medio. Continue to the Havana Club Rum Museum, where you will learn about the history of the sugar cane and the brewing process of the well-known Cuban rum. You will even have a chance to taste it.A panoramic tour then moves on to Havana Central Park, the Capitol Building, Havana Grand Theatre, the Malecón (Havana Seawall) and modern Havana: The Revolution Square, and Havana University. Return to Hotel. 
  • 19hrs Dinner at local restaurant.
  • 20:30hrs Transfer to visit to Cabaña Fortress and enjoy a majestic panoramic view of Havana City as well as the famous ceremony known as Cañonazo at 21hrs.

Day 3. Havana - Pinar del Río

  • Breakfast. 8hrs. Early morning departure to Pinar del Río. Visit Las Terrazas village which includes a visit to Moka Hotel, Buenavista coffee plantation and San Juan River. Also, you can enjoy of optional activities (extra charge) on the spot.
  • Lunch at local restaurant.
  • Departure to Soroa, located in the Sierra del Rosario Reserve of the Biosphere, where you can visit Orchid Gardens and El Salto of Soroa, the most impressive water fall in the country.
  • Transfer to Pinar del Río City.

Day 4. Pinar del Río- Viñales-Pinar del Río

  • Breakfast. Visit to Pinar del Rio cigar factory.
  • Transfer to Viñales Valley.
  • Visits to Veguero´s farm, Indian´s Cave with boat ride on an underground river and The Mural of Prehistory.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Stop at Los Jazmines lookout for farewell cocktail and beautiful views.

Day 5. Pinar del Río- Guamá- Cienfuegos

Day 6 Cienfuegos- Trinidad

  • Breakfast. 9hrs Tour of the Historic Town of the city founded by French visiting Palacio del Valle, and Marti Square.
  • Lunch at local restaurant.
  • After lunch, drive to Trinidad. City tour of the colonial town visiting the Municipality Museum and Canchánchara Bar to enjoy a typical drink.
  • Accommodation at Hotel/Private house in HB Plan (dinner at hotel restaurant).

Day 7. Trinidad-Santa Clara

  • Breakfast.
  • Departure to Santa Clara. On the way, visit to Ingenios Valley and ManacaIznaga tower.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant in Santa Clara.
  • City Tour visiting the Ernesto Che Guevara Monument-Memorial, the Armored Train Museum, Santa Clara Boulevard and Central Park.

Day 8. Santa Clara-Varadero-Havana

  • Departure to Varadero for dropping off the clients who want to stay in Varadero. Then, Transfer from Varadero to Parque Central in Havana/Havana Airport for the rest of the clients. End of the services.
