The city of Trinidad owes its birth to the sugar industry, founded in 1514, under the name of Villa of the Holy Trinity, its stunning architecture combines characteristics of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Your guide will pick you up in an airconditioned vehicle and you will depart to the Mirador del Valle de los Ingenios. On the way enjoy panoramic views of the port and the fishing village of Casilda. Stop at the Mirador to enjoy beautiful views of the San Luis Valley, the mountains of the Escambray and the Caribbean Sea. Visit The valley of the mills and Hacienda Manaca-Iznaga, originally a sugar farm founded in the eighteenth century, where you can observe the buildings typical of this type of agricultural complex. Its sugar factory, the barracks that housed the slaves, as well as a watchtower. This architectural work was built in the nineteenth century and declared by the
National commission of Monuments of Cuba as National Monument of the Nation. You will then return to Trinidad and visit the Potter's house where the best of the Trinity Pottery is shown. Later you will walk through the historic center of town through the main streets of the city, including the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza Real del Jigüe where Trinidad was founded. The tour includes an entrance to a local museum and a visit to the Canchánchara with a typical drink tasting and lunch at a local restaurant, at the end of the tour visit to Playa Ancon.
